I havent taken a stand on how I feel about the Occupy movement, because quite honestly, Im not well enough informed, I currently am unemployed partially by choice, only partially by todays shitty economy, and because I am notoriously “part of the problem” in that I dont take a stand on most major issues. 

However, I will say this. There are a lot of STUPID people out there, trying to get shit done the WRONG WAY. And this sheds an extremely bad light on what could have been a good thing.

Occupy Chicago demonstrators sit down in the middle of the street, and clog up a huge part of downtown chicago. Why the fuck would you do that? This is not peaceful protesting. Youre causing everyone else (yes, this includes other 99%ers) trouble. People cant get to their jobs…those jobs theyre trying desperately to hold onto, those jobs youre supposed to be fighting for. People cant get home to their families, people cant get to school, to the store, to the hospital, to wherever theyre trying to go. You are in their fucking way, sitting in the middle of the street, causing more issues than youre solving. I sincerely hope no ambulance or police car or fire truck needed to go downtown because someone was in danger while these people were parking their happy asses in the middle of a street. I personally think this particular demonstration was a really fucking bad idea, and judging by some comments in the article, so did some other people who had to deal with it directly.

Occupy San Francisco protesters set up a tent IN A FUCKING BANK. You cant do that. Why. in gods name, did anyone think it was okay, intelligent, or somehow a good idea to set up a camp inside a Bank of America branch? You cannot hold a protest inside of a bank. Not only is it…oh i dont know…not allowed, youre causing security and safety concerns for the people who are just trying to do their jobs. That bank teller? Probably an under-employed 99%er one small fuck-up away from budget cuts and layoffs. The security guard? Probably a 99%er. The people just trying to go about their days doing their errands to and from the bank? 99%ers. Again, you are in their way, you are making them dislike you, you are NOT being productive. 

These are just two small examples of how the Occupy protesters are doing more harm than good. I see numerous tweets, facebook updates, etc every day from regular ol’ people who would probably get behind the movement….if it werent so heavily inconveniencing them. A facebook update two hours ago from a NYC resident “got stuck in OWS trying to take a train from work, it was terrifying, pushing and cursing. NYPD the only help. GO HOME OWS” The NYPD, the people everyone is so up in arms against (and yes, possibly rightfully so, but thats a different argument) were the only ones that helped a civilian just trying to go about their day keep from getting shoved around by protesters. 

If the Occupy movement wants to be taken any sort of seriously, they really need to organize better and cull the herd of all the idiotic people who cant figure out how to peacefully protest and not fuck up everyone elses day while theyre at it.

What the hell are you thinking bothering the kids just trying to go to school in the morning? You want to sit your happy ass on the street? Fine. But these little kids have nothing to do with you or your protest, and theyve got somewhere to be, so when they come down the sidewalk form an opening and let them through peacefully. What in the actual fuck.
